Make sure you measure EVERYTHING! Twice, 3 times, 4 times if you have to. The esm is your friend. Take your time, be patient, clean, and meticulous with your measurments. Make sure you have a proper torque wrench as well, a lot of things like the heads, main cap, cams, lower plenum have to be tightened in steps to specific torque values or they will warp. You seem intelligent, so it shouldnt be too big of an issue for you. More of a "nerves" thing. believe me we have all been there on our first O/H. Maybe not while assembling, but definately on the first start lol.
